| - Two sales guys came to my house for an "inspection", insisted that my wife walk around with us and sit through their sales pitch. I told them 4 times, she is busy with our 3 kids and she had a guest, but they wouldn't let it go. Borderline rude and apparently crucial to their sales pitch. Finally my wife stopped by to humor the salesmen. They said nothing insightful, and she rolled her eyes and went back to tending to our kids and visiting her guest. The salesmen then walked around my house, muttering earnestly to themselves, pointing out obvious potential problems but never offering a solution, just vague worry that my house was in serious trouble. It was all general, circular and intended to confuse and scare. Clearly, this is their business model. Unfortunately for them, I'm an attorney and make a living off identifying obfuscation and bluster. I also had previous inspections, specific diagnoses, and estimates for remediation from other, far more serious and credible companies. So, I knew how a legitimate consultation was supposed to go. The sales guys at Ohio State Waterproofing left my house without providing specific solutions or an estimate. They evaded my pointed questions on what needed to be done and how much it would cost. They talked in circles to the very end. Avoid this company and look for a local, family business that won't send salesmen to conduct a high pressure sales pitch.
