I really like this park. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the entrance fee. $7 for a Nevadan seems like a lot. So we don't go as often as we'd like to.
The grassy area is huge and well kept with lots of picnic table, benches and grills, all positioned out of the sun. So bring some food and have a picnic. Bathrooms and water fountains are nearby too. There's usually a cow grazing in the field adjacent to the grassy area. Take a tour of the ranch house and learn the history of the ranch. Quiet a few trails to walk on and explore the surrounding area. Yes, there's even a lake with ducks to walk around.
