  • What a joke of a company. I called about three weeks ago interested in a home. The lady that answered said the home needs a "smart lock" installed before we can view the home. She said it should be ready by Monday (I think I called on a Thursday). She said that Joseph Mangini would call me that week when it was ready. On about Wednesday (2 days after they said we could view the home) I email/and text Joseph multiple times with no response. I finally call, and he has a voice mail saying he's on vacation, and to contact Paulina. So I text her (the only useful person on this company) and she was very nice, and helpful, and got the ball rolling. Eventually (2 days ago, 09/12/17) we were finally able to view the house. The way this company does viewings is they give you a code and you go by yourself and view the home by unlocking the smart lock for an hour. So no human interaction House was overall sweet, but we had some questions and we wanted to talk with a person. We (me and 3 roommates) paid the $180 application fee, and were super excited that the next day, we were accepted and allowed to move ahead. I received an email from Wilber Caminero saying we were accepted, but had to pick a move in date within 9 days, sign the lease within a week, and pay all of our fees asap (red flag). So for the last 48 hours, I have been trying to talk with Wilber asking if he could meet up so we could go over everything together and do, you know, normal land lord/renter stuff for a new renter. But he avoided 3 separate emails, and when I texted him today, he finally responds, but still doesn't address if he'll meet with us or not. He calls me at some point but I was working and couldn't hear him, and as I was talking he hung up on me. So I texted him again, still asking about meeting with him. Anyway, I'll post the pictures of my conversation and you can see. Paulina responded eventually and was helpful as always, but everyone else that I dealt with was worthless. I suggest staying away from this company. If it was this hard to meet someone face to face, imagine what it would be like once they have your signature and money. So, in review. Joseph was worthless, Paulina was great, and Wilber didn't have the to directly answer a question. STAY AWAY!
