  • First off let me preface that I'm from Florida, I can speak Spanish semi-fluently, and I have a Cuban sister. That being said, I was let down by La Cubana. The decor, feel and smell were all there. However, the taste just wasn't. It was lacking something that I can't describe any better than simply saying, authenticity. Let me not be too harsh. If this is your first time having Cuban food then this is a fair comparison to the real thing. I recommend the pressed sandwiches, I believe I had the pork shoulder option.
