Unless you plan on flying directly in or out of Las Vegas, I wouldn't recommend McCarron International; however, I don't dread it.
Positives:
+ Resides very close to The Strip (10 minutes away).
+ Somewhat clean.
+ Slot machines provide extra seating. (LOL.)
+ Numerous lounges including Priority Pass and one Centurion.
Negatives:
- Poorly organized. (Why confuse travelers with Terminal 1 and 3? Just list the gates.)
- Misleading and outdated signs to "direct" people. (A sign for the restroom directed me to an ATM.)
- Not a lot of local food options.
- Dated TSA security lines.
The airport needs major reorganization and a facelift, but it doesn't matter when you're drunk or hungover I guess.
