  • Wow what a great place. Great food and beer selection. There was a long wait and we loved the text me option when available. The girl up front was really nice and explained it in a way that kept us on the hook. So glad she did. We were over at the Fremont when the text came that table was almost ready. I replied with a "1" that we were on our way. Super smart on their part. Even had an option to cancel if needed with text. Got a seat with great views of TVs and football games. Much better than anything over in the Grand. We had to order the meatballs based on the reviews. They did not disappoint. Very tasty. The "New Yorker" Pizza was very good and I would recommend it highly. We ordered the chopped salad to split between the three of us. I think they forgot it cause we had to ask after the pizza came. No biggie, but when it came it was just ok. Would not recommend that salad. Overall, I would come back if in area. I would never stay at the Downtown Grand Hotel again so not sure if i will. Great Place, atmosphere.
