  • Intimate neighborhood bar, meant to look like something from North of Highway 29 in Northern wisconsin. Free popcorn and peanuts. Three TVs. Good selection of beers. Nice outside deck in shade, with a TV. Free live music on Thursdays, but put some money in the pitcher for the band, dammit. This complex is going to be destroyed and rebuilt, and I hope they keep the Up North feel: Woodwork, animals on walls, memorabilia like canoe paddles. The staff is friendly in the cozy little bar. Great place to visit in the winter, and hope it stays around.
