  • I was a former patient of Dr Nguyen's so I went to see her at her new practice. The office itself is nice and the appointment was great. However, 6 months later, I am now getting a bill for $400. The experience with the billing manager is hands down the worst experience I've had with a doctor's office (and I am a nurse). When I called, upset about my bill, the manager told me "it's actually not a lot of money" and "well, if you went to the ER you would pay $500 for a chest X-ray." Then she told me she didn't need my attitude, because I pointed out that it may not seem like a lot of money to her because she doesn't have to pay it. An update (3/2016): Dr Nguyen was willing to work with me and reduce the amount I owed to $200. She is an exceptional doctor and I don't question her expertise or her character. I stand by my statements about her billing manager, as the above is word for word what was said to me. To sum it up: excellent MD/very poorly run office. I will certainly go back if/when Dr Nguyen gets rid of her poisonous billing manager.
