  • I hate the Canopy Club. I drove all the way to Urbana when I live out of town just to pay to see a show that they kicked me out of for no reason. I had caught the flu, and was extremely sick in the bathroom puking. When a crew member came in the bathroom and saw me, she assumed I was "messed up" on drugs and told another co worker to kick me and my friend out, JUST as the main artist (I drove all the way to see) started to perform. I was lucky that my party bus showed up at just the right time, because if it hadn't, I would have been left OUTSIDE on the street in an unfamiliar (dangerous) park of a city I have never been to in the COLD! The worker had told me to go home and "re-evaluate" my night because I had clearly taken something. I offered for him to do a sobriety test or breathalyze me and he showed no interest in letting me stay. I will never come back here after paying to go see a show just to get thrown out for NO reason!
