  • Came here with my friend from school since we needed to kill some time before an event we had later that evening. The beer selection on tap was really good and the cocktail menu had many drinks that sounded appetizing. I ordered the "Sunset Over The Westward Ho," which was mango vodka with a berry syrup. I was thinking the drink was going to be really sweet because of the berry syrup, but it actually wasn't that sweet. I thought it was ok. My friend ordered a cherry chocolate flavored beer and it was really good. My friend and I shared the MB beer mac trio and the roasted garlic spread. The beer mac trio came in there own little dishes, which I liked to keep them each separate. I like my mac and cheese super gooey with the cheese wisping. The mac and cheese was not wispy but the cheese was really creamy so I was happy with that. The trio came in Sriracha tri-tip, bacon blue cheese, and a plain beer mac. The order I listed them, was the order I liked them. The Sriracha tri-rip had a very definitive cheese and sriracha flavor, but the sriracha was not over powering and it wasn't that spicy. It had a little heat at the start of the bite but it went away pretty quickly. The tri-tip pieces were good. The bacon blue cheese was a nice change from the other two because of the sharpness of the blue cheese and there was bacon... who doesn't love bacon? The plain beer mac was ok. It wasn't my favorite, so to jazz up the flavor a bit I ended up adding my roasted garlic spread to it and it was good after the fix! I ended up adding the roasted garlic spread to all three and it really was value add. The roasted garlic spread was literally a bowl filled with the garlic spread. The spread appears to be minced roasted garlic in olive oil and it came with a side of softer bread and some crostinis. I load my slices with a ton of garlic spread and I put it in my mac and cheese and I still had enough to take home so I could use it at home. This dish is extremely garlicky. If you do not like garlic or need to have fresh breath after, do not get this dish. If I was just ordering this dish as an appetizer or to have with my drink, I would think that the plate needed another component to cut the intensity of the garlic flavor but if you are eating it with other things it was perfect. The order did not come with enough bread for the amount of garlic spread. Not even close. I had to order a second order of bread. Service was a little slow but they were super, super nice. I want to say 3.5, but not a 4. I would come back here.
