| - Like many others who have reviewed Great Clips, I came here needing a last minute cut. Ever since Honeycuts in Huntersville closed/ changed I've been having a hard time getting a haircut. I've gone to Dani & Co. with mixed results and I can never get a return call from Andrea's Men's Haircuts.
So here I am on a late Tuesday evening at Great Clips with Tosha cutting my hair. You would think with so little hair on my head this shouldn't be a problem.
Atmosphere - strip mall, nautical themed (this confuses me), clean, you're in you're out feel
Service - Friendly enough but you get the sense that the margins are tight and this place is all about volume (which ironically is something I lack in the hair department). Chitchat, as they say, is kept to a minimum (after all, you're here for a haircut not on a date).
Once finished, initial impressions of the cut seemed good. I will have to wait a few weeks to truly confirm the quality of the cut as, IMHO, a bad to great cut is all about the grow in.
Cost - $13 for just a cut.
Overall - Tosha did a great job with my hair. While the experience didn't consist of a wash, hot towel, and a scalp message (i.e.Honeycuts), it definitely served its purpose and saved me a few bucks in the process.
