  • Mi Pueblo on Lorain is the best Mexican food in Cleveland. Being Hispanic and a native of California, I've tried many Mexican restaurants since moving to Cleveland, and while some are good and others not, Mi Pueblo is consistently the best. It tastes the most like home. The salsa is very spicy, and incredible. The enchiladas rancheras are fantastic. This isn't Tex-Mex. If, when you order a taco, you mean two corn tortillas with carne asada and pico de gallo, you will enjoy this place. If, when you order a taco, you mean a flour tortilla with ground beef, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce, well, give it a try because you might find you like this kind better. Of course, Mexican food like this costs like six bucks in California, but I'm in Ohio, so I'm willing to pay more. But their lunches are cheap! I have not been to their East-side location, so I don't know whether it's as good.
