  • Wow this experience was AWFUL. I had a 5pm appt and was 10 min late due to rush hour traffic. But I had zero way to contact the front desk because the phone line only calls corporate. When I arrived I was apologetic and then endured getting treated like utter garbage! The girl at the front desk began by cutting me off mid sentence to tell me how her system automatically registered me as a "no show", which seemed a bit irrelevant because I was seen by the tech anyway. Was that supposed to guilt trip me? I also had my 9 yr old daughter with me, to which the technician tells me " she cant go back there with you" in the most curt and inconsiderate tone - without any sweetness or "sorry for the inconvenience", which visibly made my daughter very uncomfortable. Also just a nasty message given my daughter is 9 and was old enough to sit and wait for a few minutes in the waiting room anyway (wth?). The overall theme seemed to be these people telling me how much they wanted to create inconveniences for me rather be as accomodating as possible. I was already done with these people at this point.... When I went back to see the technician, she knew it was my first time there but spent ZERO time explaining how this works and just fired up the machine, asked if I was okay with just taking off my top in front of her and just laying it on top of myself, to which i said uh... no and asked for one of the little paper cover ups that were clearly available given the pile of used ones still protruding from the overflowing trash can. The technician gets pissed at ME then SLAMS the door behind herself after leaving me to change into said paper cover. Unbelievable. Needless to say, I proceeded to take my business to Laser Away. They have an office in the Scottsdale Quarter and have a very clean and professional facility and the staff seem to know what planet they are on. They explained what type of lasers they used, after care, etc. Very professional. I bought a package of 10 brazillian and underarm treatments (good deal) and they had a good 0% interest free financing plan I liked and was comprehensive and affordable. Perhaps these girls thought because I am Black that I didnt have money to sign up for their service after that first trip? I cant imagine I was the first person to ever be 10 min late during rush hour, so why else they were so awful as soon as I walked in the door? I look forward to emailing my Laser Away receipt to those horrible girls. :) Dreadful people. Spare yourself from having to go thru an experience like that. You cant even trust they will do the job right if they don't even have any respect for their customers.
