| - Absolutely awful pharmacy, very rude pharmacist, slow service. Everything was disorganized, I would never trust a prescription from them again. I called the ER to get a prescription, the nurse said she would call Walgreens for me. I went to Walgreens to pick it up, where I waited for a long time to be helped, when someone finally helped me, I was told they didnt have my prescription. Upon calling the ER nurse, I was told that when she called Walgreens, she was told that they were "too busy right now" and so she wasn't able to put it in. At this point, I went back to the counter to get an emergency dose because I need to take this medication ASAP, but the pharmacist decided to talk to me like 12 year old and informed they don't do phone prescriptions and that I would need to drive to the ER to get a paper copy. As it is 11 pm, this is not an option for me so I called the ER nurse back, who said that every time she calls the pharmacy, they put her on hold.
I am in excruciating pain and have an infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics as soon as possible, but thanks to Walgreens, I have TO WAIT 24 MORE HOURS FOR MY IMPORTANT PRESCRIPTION. I will never be going again. If you need anything to be done correctly, I recommend CVS.
Update: I called the manager and explained the problem, she called me back to tell me the prescription would be filled within the hour. It has now been an hour and a half and I am still sitting waiting. If I wasn't in so much pain, I'd just wait until the morning when another pharmacy would be open.
