  • I have heard great things about Millie, and have also tried the location in Kensington. The reason that I wanted to come here was because they have more selection of cake and pastries compared to the other location. This location has cakes, tarts, and a lot of gelato in different flavours. Seating is very limited, so lots of people take their items to-go. I tried the earl grey crepe cake and vanilla bean crepe cake. Each was about $8. The earl grey one actually tasted like earl grey. The layers of crepe were very thin and light, with the perfect amount of cream in between. I have tried the matcha one before as well, and I would say that the matcha one has a stronger flavour compared to the earl grey. Despite the perfection of the cakes, I would say that the price point is a little bit steep. For two cakes, it totaled $16. I was tempted to try the other items on the display as well, but at $8 a piece, there is only so much you can order at one time. However, I would return since I haven't found anywhere that has a better crepe cake. Maybe next time I will splurge and order the other types of desserts offered!
