  • We go here a lot. Its a fun place with a colorful decor that puts you somewhere South of the Border. They have a decent happy hour, dog-friendly patio, and play good music. Problem (or not) is when there is live music just outside on the stage and San Felipe's refuses to turn off the music inside. So you have this blasting rock outside drifting over the alternative rock inside and a lot of confused looking eaters. Or, just laugh at it. We have on multiple occasions. Cute wait staff, male and female. Good vibe. Wings, well, they are okay. You get a big ugly bucketful for about$10, less on happy hour. They are kinda "black-peppery" hot, not real classic buffalo, but they're dang good, very large wings. You will be full. Sometimes if I am with more people we get this taco sampler platter which has like 15 little cups of stuff to shove into small taco shells. A chance to "have it your way". So, if you are shopping at Tempe Marketplace and need to get a little tanked to loosen up your spouse's grip on that Gold MasterCard, here's your place.
