  • A coupon brought me to Blain's Farm & Fleet for the first time in my life. We just moved to the area and received a generous "welcome" coupon in the mail. Low and behold, we needed new windshield wiper blades and decided to take ourselves to Blain's automotive department. We apparently visited on a great day. Everything on our list was on sale. Grass seed was BOGO, windshield wiper blades $5 off or 15% off, and they had a great selection of Father's Day cards. Hubs and I left spending under $30. Yahoo! There's some great stuff in Blain's, though. I could have spent a couple of hours here. Really nice higher-end outwear brands (Columbia, Carhart, Dickies), nice shoe selection, higher-end toys (Schleich, Melissa & Doug), Midwest favorites like Sprecher Rootbeer, the best selection of greeting cards, cute outdoor decor, tons of everyday household items, great pet department and so much more. I found prices at Blain's to be super, actually. Friendly customer service. Super clean store. Nice parking lot. Kudos to management and staff for keeping the store looking inviting and easy to shop. Hope to be back sooner rather than later!
