  • I walked up to the store on a Sunday afternoon and it looked packed. I was hesitant and wondered if it would be difficult to get assistance from a salesperson. That's how my experiences had gone with other larger chain outdoor outfitters, but I was happily surprised as I watched the staff seamlessly help multiple customers at a time. They were great at juggling the needs of each customer. I needed to buy new shoes for two upcoming races that I've been training for, but I was actually looking for something else, too. Confidence. I was a bit shaken after a minor injury (swollen toenail) caused by wearing the wrong type of shoe. After working with your Tempe sales guy Ryan for about 45 minutes, trying on 5 different pairs of shoes and giving them a whirl on the treadmill and on the pavement, I found a winner!!! They were even on sale! I was so happy to give them my money. HAHA I don't think I've ever said that before, but yes I found the right pair of shoes for my running habits and the confidence I needed to get back out there and run past my swollen toenail. Who needs toenails anyways? Thank you so much, Ryan!!
