  • So I walked into this showroom I fell in love with a sofa, I was looking for so long I thought yay ! I got approved for credit , I got to choose the color I wanted and pick the pillow colors and everything, It was New years day sale so I got a great deal on an ottoman and a couch they said it would be in , in 4 to 6 weeks. I was moving into a new home and did not have a couch but I was so excited about this couch I thought "I can wait 6 weeks for the perfect couch" I agreed and we chose everything we liked out. I had not heard from them for 6 whole weeks. I called on that weekend to find out the status of my couch that should have been finished. I was told that they needed to call the manufacturers and find out why it has not been delivered yet. I was a little upset, I have now lived in my home for a month with no couch waiting for this 6th week mark to come and to no avail I never got a phone call. Our sales rep who remains to be very nice and pleasant to me through this very rough situation tells me he will contact me when they get back to the. So just my luck there is a strike on the docks and fabric was on back order not at home furnishings fault , I did not get angry with them I was upset at the manufacturer, Well 3 months in to living in my home and now I finally had gotten my couch and ottoman delivered, However , the ottoman delivered was the wrong fabric along with black pillows instead of the color choice I chose for one set. Now I am angry with at home furnishings the couch is beautiful, however sill al little wrinkly in some spots, they say the fabric has to settle, that's fine but the fact that the ottoman is the wrong fabric and one set of pillows does not match my order when they had 3 months to get this right is inexcusable. I refused the ottoman and the movers were not happy about that, the look I got was well, not nice. I called our the sales rep and told him of the issue, first he told me that is what is on the work order, I then told him to check my receipt and he saw that I was correct ( first rule of thumb in customer service is not to argue with a paying customer) . So he called the manufacturer and found out it would be 4 to 8 weeks until I could get the correct ottoman, He offered me a loner, the one that is already in the show room, along with the correct pillows. The owner agreed to even hand deliver to make me happy, I of course work 6 days a week and it is hard to be home when they would like to deliver things to me, I declined his offer due to his late notice and we scheduled the loner drop for the next weekend. I loved the loner things they were beautiful the pillows were the perfect size( just like the original black ones they gave me however the right color) The movers came in and took the black pillows after my sales rep told me he was gong to let me have those seeing I have been waiting close to 4 months now for furniture. Guess the owner decided he didn't like that when I asked them they told me that's what they were told to do. The one mover left me the meanest message he said he would be at my house at 8 well I guess answering my door at 8:01 am is too late for him since he had time to leave a message at how I said i would be at the house to take these pieces and no one is answering when he is knocking. i answered he came in dropped everything off took the pillows and left. very QUICK rude and well we did not want him back in our house. i didn't call the sales rep, i wanted to ignore the situation, When our ottoman came in and pillows i got a call from the sales rep trying to set up a time to drop them off, i said i didn't want them back in my house i would just keep what i had since it is the same and be done with them , he said he would really rather me get the new things i ordered. I agreed with a fine after his persuasion and told him i didn't want the one mover in my home but the other was nice so he could enter, well they just left again and took the pillows and ottoman i had as a loner and dropped off an ottoman that looks like the stripes were not lined up completely right with the fur but the most concerning to me is this. I wanted to keep the pillows we agreed numerous times that i would keep the loner pillows and to only order them if they were going to keep them for there display room. Well they took the loner pillows and gave me the same fabric pillows but they are not the same size or feel of the ones they loaned me, I am beyond frustrated with this place the owner can care less about the quality of the merchandise or trying to do right by you. they took back two sets of pillows that were beautiful and left me with thick short and plump throw pillows that are nothing like the ones on the show room floor. Do not order anything from this place .. I know things happen, but this was ridiculous. I wonder why he was so persistent about me taking those new pillows ,I just wonder.
