Perhaps it's just me but wine bars in other parts of the world are generally stocked with more than 3 red wines available by the glass to facilitate a 'sampling' of various wines. No?
I was familiar with each of the 3 and not particularly impressed and so had a beer. My friend had a glass of merlot and said it tasted all right. When I asked the chatty waitress if there were any other reds available she pushed and squeezed herself down into my seat and asked me what sort of wine I usually drink. I told her it would depend on how I was feeling and perhaps that was the wrong answer because she rarely appeared for the next 1/2 hour. My friend had to get up and go get her from chatting with the bar tender. We ate a couple apps that were nothing special and left feeling like this place should be someone's basement bar rather than a money making endeavor.
