So I made an appointment because my check engine light and traction control light came on. I diagnosed the problem myself with my own OBD reader and informed them I was not going to pay their $106 diagnostic check fee. They agreed to waive that fee so I proceeded to bring my car in. Keep in mind this is a 2010 Toyota Camry. This car should not be experiencing problems being such a new car. So my MAF sensor needed replacing and I agreed to the repair costs and shop fees. I was under the impression this repair was covered under my Certified Used Toyota Warranty but unfortunately this particular part was not covered under the powertrain warranty.
I go to pick up my car and after paying they bring my car to me with the check engine and traction control lights still on!!!! I took it for a test drive and after experiencing the same problems before I brought it in, I immediately returned to the service center. They approached me and I asked them with a straight face if they even repaired my car because the car still sputters and the warning lights and still present. After waiting another 30 minutes they fixed a loose vacuum hose and reset the warning lights which magically fixed the entire problem. Long story short, double and triple check the work they do on your car because in this case the problem was not completely fixed when I went to pick up my car.
