  • As I was staying at the Tropicana, my buddy and I decided to have our one good Vegas dinner at the hotel and gave this spot a chance. We were a little pressed for time as we had tickets for a show at a neighboring hotel, so we decided to eat at the bar. We were were very pleased with the food and drinks. He had the BBQ Meatloaf and I had the French Dip. The French Dip was good, the shaved prime rib was tender, and the meal itself was filling. I would actually go out of my way to eat here again and the reason being was that our bar tender and waiter, Rolando, was super friendly and efficient. My buddy and I were there for a gay sports festival, The Tropicana is the host hotel for this event, thus I think they put Rolando (who claims he's usually not stationed at the bar) as the main bartender to appease us gays. Mission Accomplished, he was good looking!
