Not making this long, but I've found coming here in recent times disappointing. It feels like they are sulking in and taking advantage of the fact they are busier. Everything seems so much more expensive, MP (market price) is apparently the new price, and the spirit in there isn't Aloha. While it does depend on staff members...I was always afraid they'd come to this. We'd frequent here when they were just starting out. It felt personable, food quality and price made sense, but now...the inflation of price to value...it's not even worthed anymore. It no longer tastes as good as it used to. Not everyone uderstands that market price deal, so seeing it is easily a turn off. We aren't in a high end restaurant. Even back home in Hawaii you'll get a blunt price especially in terms of kalbi. Seafood MP I get. But kalbi? =/
Our last visit really left a bummed and empty feeling...which is a reminder as to why we no longer frequent here. Safe to say, we will no longer come here...we just cant. But I don't want to take away the fact that they do have tasty items on their menu...just the value is no longer something we feel is worthed.
