  • I have been going to LaserAway in Scottdale every 8 weeks for almost a year and I wish I had never wasted my money. I went there after spending a year going to a plastic surgeon to have a couple tattoos lasered. On my consultation visit "2" people assured me that 6 of their LaserAway laser treatments and my tattoos would be gone. I disagreed with them but they assured me that I should have come to them first. My tattoos did not even have color. Yet here I am almost a year later and I bought another 3 treatments because after the 6 failed to take them away as they had assured me would happen. I even have one tattoo that is more faded then the other 1/2 of the same tattoo, and these are NOT big tattoos. When I said something to the manager she suggested I buy MORE treatments. I only bought the other 3 because they said DEFINITELY they would be gone. I was also told to drink MORE water. I have been dealing with these tattoos for almost 3 years. I emailed the headquarters and they said they would be HAPPY to assist me with my concern. That was 3 weeks ago. I have NOT heard back from them either. I was hoping to finish getting rid of the tattoos and checking out the other products that they offer BUT if the only product I've bought from them doesn't even come close to what they promised, I question how effective their other products work. I won't be finding out. The manager also suggested I drive 30 minutes to their newest facility and try that laser. What? Why would I drive 3 cities over. Another thing that made me question my choice was the fact that the person running the laser seems to know NOTHING about the machine or the voltage (watts - whatever it may be called). I rarely had the same person doing the procedure and only once did a RN know anything about the machine. She even told me that my first 4 treatments I had been treated on to low a setting because my tattoos had already been lasered repeatedly over the last 2 years. that I should have been being treated on a higher setting to get the desired result. Yet when mentioned to the manager she just suggested I purchase MORE treatments. Now I'm off to Delete in Phoenix. I've already got enough money invested in this and i can't leave them like this. I feel I wasted this last year, hopefully this review will keep someone else from wasting their money.
