When I first started coming to this restaurant in the early 2000's - they gave you ample portions of sautéed peppers and onions (probably 50/50) to go with your fajita meat. I was really disappointed to see them change that over the years to now only including 1 slice of green pepper and 1 slice of red pepper (raw) on top of a massive bed of onions that are pretty much raw. You can ask for more peppers (@ an additional cost) and you can ask for the peppers/onions to be sautéed more but in my opinion, you shouldn't have to.
Interior is super dated and dark and desperately needs a face lift but I can deal with it.
Probably 90% of the time we come here the service is great. The other 10% it's just so-so - but nothing so bad that I wouldn't come back.
Now... here's the part I really want to highlight - GET THE FAJITAS!! Don't bother with anything else on the menu - the fajitas are what they are known for and where it's at. Sure, they have great chips & salsa and queso dip - but the freshly made warm, pillowy tortillas coupled with the tasty pico, shredded cheese and sour cream and last but not least - the incredible Shrimp & Cadillac Steak - make this a culinary knock-out. So don't bother with the enchiladas or taco salads... JUST GET THE FAJITAS!!
