They simply did not take me to flavortown. The pork belly buns were amazing. Cooked just right with good crispy outside and soft inside. The bun tasted just right and no overly sweet. Seasoned salty enough to work well with hoisen sauce glaze and peanuts. Overall would recommend anyone try out their buns. But the rest of the food was lackluster. Got the short rib rice with a fried egg which the waitress said was the best they had besides their buns. The dish very colorful looking almost like bibimbap at first. The hot meat made the spring salad warm and soggy tasting. The meat fell apart nicely but the sauce (I assume sugar and soy sauce based) compared to an instant microwave Chinese frozen meal. The portions were nice. Did have a bite of the short rib grilled cheese which was pretty decent. The place is awkwardly tucked inside a small casino. The staff was nice in recommending places to go to. Guy Fieri may have stopped by but clearly the food couldn't have brought him to flavortown.
