  • I went though a Aritzia phase when I was in my early 20's. Now that I have bills to pay its not a place I go often. On my recent mall stint I thought I'd check it out for old times stake. I actually had a girl greet me! The place was teeming with teenagers, in my day there was no way I would be shopping in there at 16! I browsed through the place pretty quickly. One nice thing about this place is that they carry some of the best brands of jeans around, J Brand, Seven for all Mankind, Rock & Republic. Of course they all fetch for almost $300. I must say the Marc Jacobs bags, which are a new addition, for $99, regular $225, were mighty tempting! I decided to try on one simple top I found, that was going for $40. You have to put your bag in a locked drawer before trying anything on, even though I had just one top. The girl at the fitting room was nice enough. The top ended up fitting well, but I wasn't wowed. After tracking down my purse, I had no problem leaving empty handed. I will never understand how young girls manage to shop here, or what parent would spend so much on their daughters clothing, but people do! This store should be unique, but that is lost when you see everyone wearing the same stuff. I probably won't return to Aritzia anytime soon, its just not my thing anymore.
