| - This is seriously the most beautiful grocery store I have ever seen! It is so organized and so perfect for people living downtown. For me, I enjoy going to the deli for lunch since it is right down the street from work. They offer a great salad bar, wraps, and sandwiches. I was also very impressed by the to-go food. I was running late for a meeting and needed to grab something quickly. I walked into Heinen's and picked out a wrap in the cooler. I usually don't do this because usually to-go wraps get kind of soggy while they sit in the cooler, but this one was really fresh and very tasty. Only $5 too!
Now don't get me started on the wine selection...I could spend all day there. Plus, you can enjoy their Happy Hour after work! Over 1000 different varieties of wine, 400 different craft beers, SELF-SERVE wine dispensers (why didn't I ever think of that?), 8 beers on tap and build your own six packs. Just perfect.
Do not go in here expecting low prices or to get your week's worth of groceries. The brands they carry are a little more upscale than what you would find at Marc's. If you are driving downtown to go to this store, parking can be a hassle. You will have to walk to your car with whatever groceries you buy. So I recommend going in to buy a few specialty items that you couldn't find at your local store, have lunch, go to happy hour, and make it a grocery experience unlike any other.
