Like any bargain store, use caution and common sense. May repeat visits may be required to net a true bargain. I don't often buy food there, it's not usually much of a deal. Electronics are iffy. What I usually pick up in this store are things like kids clothes, housewares, gift wrap, toothpaste, shampoo. I bought a toque for $1 which I love and I've had it at least 5 years. I've gotten loads of compliments on it. It's not hard to figure out the layout, they put everything on separate floors. The washrooms are scary but they're free and no one hassles you if you need to use them. It's definitely kid friendly with all the weird junk to look at, on every floor, and they do have a toy section which is a good place to pick up a colouring book or puzzle.
