| - I will update my rating once this issue is fixed. Decent apartments, not luxury by any means but we do like our apartment and the location.
Pool is always over chlorinated, so much that when you are near it or in it your eyes burn from the fumes. We don't plan on swimming this summer because of it.
They have a hard time keeping doggie bags full in multiple locations. They do not monitor what type of dogs come in even though they have a breed restriction, which is great if you have a pit bull (I love pit bulls don't get me wrong, can be amazing dogs!) so keep that in mind when moving in here.
When we moved in there where cockroaches and cockroach feces everywhere. We brought it up and I cleaned what I could. They where coming out of our washer and it took a couple complaints and failed bug spraying and me asking for a new dish washer to have it eradicated. This was probably the first month of being here. (Mind you we where nice about it and did what he could to help maintain and stop it ourselves) good thing is, no cockroaches since. But we lived with a nest of them for a month.
Lots of random people living in people's apartments that aren't on the lease. Example would be some people upstairs that we had to call the cops on due to an altercation in the parking lot where one individual was arrested (we have seen his car a few times since then)
There's one guy who loves to park in two parking spots parked side ways with no reserved sticker on the spots, he's also got a pile of tires out there. They let that slide.
We have kept our apartment in great condition, we don't cause problems and we clean up after our dog and sometimes other dogs. We would love to pay rent EARLY but their app only allows you to pay on the first, which means if something goes slightly wrong then you will get REAMED with charges. Which is what happened to us. We have the money, we have more than enough, I paid on the first and waited for the funds to go out, they normally post in 7 days because that's how slow their process is (we have USAA if I send money it takes only a handful of hours vs days) apparently ours didn't go through, so within not even 48 hours of it not going through we accrued $175 in fees and will accrue another $75 by tomorrow if we don't magically get them a money order by tomorrow (or so they say since they said I'd be charged $75 tomorrow too so idk if that will be waived if I give them the money order or not)
By the way, I got this notice at 5pm today!!!!! That's great right?
I need to add that none of my rent money was set as pending from our bank. Normally it will show as outgoing but pending just not posted, nothing, didn't happen this time. Wouldn't have known anything was wrong at all.
Went to the office and got the regional managers phone number, hoping there's a little loyalty after being here for almost a year with absolutely no issues. Time to go run around and find somewhere to do a money order in the mean time.
(And yes I know there are late fees, I just never imagined there'd be some electronic error or issue after being here for as long as we have and doing everything routinely. But apparently it's not perfect and residents are liable for it no matter how responsible they have been)
