  • My husband and I have been clients here for four years. During this time, we've only seen Dr. Knisley, so this will primarily be a review of his services. The hours the clinic maintains are also very attractive with evening/weekend appointments available, and prices are fair, including a 2nd pet discount per visit. The staff do not pressure you into unneeded treatments and vaccines, either. They do have a wellness insurance plan, and allow access to your pet's records through their website, but we do not take advantage of these services, so I can't comment on their value. The only reason I knocked off a star is that they do lack some specialized equipment, limiting their range of services. Dr. Knisley. Always happy to see us, especially when everyone is healthy and we're just there for our annual. We have had some bad luck with our cats, over the years, and Dr. Knisley has been with us through it all. We will be always be grateful for his gentle treatment of our cat when, at the tender age of 3.5 years, she was diagnosed with diabetes. I guess it was probably a kick in the teeth for him, too , when a few weeks later on a follow-up visit , he detected an irregular heartbeat. After ordering x-rays, the news was not good but Dr. Knisley was quick and sympathetic in his delivery. He offered us a potential treatment plan but suggested, mournfully, that we not take it. It was a temporary and unpleasant fix, and he felt the treatment would be as traumatic as the illness. We agreed. We opted for an in-home euthanasia, completed by someone other than Dr. Knisley, but he made sure to call us two days later to personally offer his condolences. That's a long and unhappy story, I know, but it demonstrates what I love most about Dr. Knisley. He genuinely cares about his patients - not just their health, but also their quality of life. He shows concern for us pet parents, too. He wanted to check in on us after this stressful journey, but understood to wait just the right amount of time before doing so. We also love that whenever he is unsure of something, or feels another doctor or specialist would be better able to handle the situation, he does not hesitate to say so and point us to the best specialist for the job. His care for animals is stronger than pride or making money.
