We stopped by YOLOS while we were waiting for our show to start. I started off with the cucumber/jalpeno margarita, it was just ok. I ordered the 3 taco combo, actually my husband and I both did. We both ordered one el pastor, one shrimp and one carne asada. I ordered refried beans and spanish rice. Our food arrived and looked tasty. I started with a bite of the el pastor taco and it was love at first taste, great flavor.. I knew after filling up on chips that I had to at least take a bite of each one before I got too full to try all three. Geez, I just wanted to keep gnawing on the el pastor but I put it down and picked up the asada taco and sunk my teeth in.. bleeeh.. the meat had no flavor, very disappointing. I got over the disappointment of the flavor lacking asada pretty quick knowing I had that little pastor unit waiting for me to return to him.. I picked up the shrimp taco and took a bite of juicy deliciousness. Man was I wishing I hadn't filled up on chips. I pushed away from the table determined to let my food settle because I was not letting el pastor escape.. I didn't want to waste belly room on beans and rice but I did have to try.. beans had no flavor like the asada and the rice was just ok. Again, I was over that disappointment really fast because I was really just there for the tacos. Try the el pastor because.. YOLO!
