This is my first 5 star review of a hotel. In general you rarely see hotel reviews on yelp that are 4 stars, never mind 4 and a half. I can certainly attest to the fact that this hotel is worth every dime and my only regret is that I didn't stay a little longer.
The big standout of the room was the heated bathroom floor. You don't realize how awesome it is until you actually feel it, and once i did I found myself walking in there just to feel it. The other amazing thing is the fact that not only are the windows floor to ceiling, but the curtains are electronically controlled from a remote by the bed. The bed itself is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel.
The design of the room was very artsy, but not overly so. Just enough where it gave the room unique touch of modernness. There are paintings on the walls and the room just has an overall feeling of newness to it that makes you want to hang out there. I'm one for variety, but Im pretty confident that when I come back to Toronto I'll be staying in this hotel again. It's walking distance to a lot of nightlife, restaurants and the skydome where the blue jays play. I was able to walk to the stadium for a game in about 10 minutes. Everything about this place was awesome and it's a 5 star rating that's well deserved.
