| - Having just moved to Phoenix my wife and I were in dire need of a sushi fix. Luckily we decided to try this location. We were promptly seated and given menus. I went ahead and tried a large selection of fish; mackerel, albacore, salmon, tuna, and yellow tail. After a short wait our food arrived. Everything was presented well, and I was more than happy with the portion size. The albacore, salmon, tuna and yellow tail were very good, tasted fresh, and had small variations of additional ingredients. The mackerel was light in flavor, and the extras added in(ponzu possibly) just muddled the taste. I did enjoy the fish, but for the price I was not entirely impressed. The rolls we ordered as well were what you would except out of a sushi orientated restaurant. I was extremely happy with the Heart Attack, as it really surprised me with it's texture. Still, the price was a tad high for what we were given.
All in all, the meal was good, but it was not great. It satisfied my sushi fix, but it could not sell me into becoming a regular. If you're in North Phoenix and are craving sushi, maybe try this spot. Although there are quite a few other locations around with far better pricing.
