The elevator at the store was broken. I was inconveniently stuck in the dressing room on the 3rd floor waiting for the sales person on heels to complete multiple round trips to the ground floor to bring sizes. It was long and wrong. When I was paying for my items the labels on them were cut. These were regular price items. First of all: Why? Second of all: I am normally asked if I need the service.
There are low expectations about customer service in Toronto boutiques on Bloor. HB staff did not disappoint. From initial greeting and indifferent "sorry the elevator is broken" to the last minute the customer service was cheap and average. Store hours are inconvenient. With Bloor strip / Yorkville going through favourite boutiques closure and some construction on the area seems to be dying and a waste of time in terms of shopping. Save yourself time and shop brand names in upscale department stores or in locations where brand names density is higher. Verdict: avoid.
