  • I was imagining the negative review I was going to write about this Discount Tire location. I have bought several sets of tires here, and after the last two I bought, my tire pressure warning system was constantly on, rendering it useless. I asked my mechanic, and it was his opinion that Discount Tire had broken one of my tire pressure sensors when it installed the tires. I was imagining in my mind how I was going to demand that they fix this as I drove up to confront Discount Tire with my problem. I was treated most courteously and the employee came to help me immediately. He had a diagnostic device he used to scan all the tires and said that the sensors were all working. He then said we should check the spare, too. It turned out that my spare, which I had been using just before buying the two new tires, was underinflated. He pumped it up, we re-booted the sensor system, and it worked just fine. Yes, you can say they should have checked the pressure in the spare before putting it back in my trunk. To me, that is a minor oversight, and no company is perfect. What impressed me was the courteous, professional, no-excuses way my complaint was addressed, which I know is the hallmark of a good company--so five stars.
