  • Let me preface this by saying that I am not a "car wash connoisseur". But I have been to many different car washes in my day. This one is no better and no worse. For $16, my car came out looking much, much better than when it went in. That is what I wanted. It was a car wash, not a detail. Not sure what more I could expect for 16 bucks. I suppose if I paid more, I would expect more. I did not leave any valuables in the car. I would never leave a pair of nice sunglasses on my dash, ever. People are people and lots of people like to take stuff that is not theirs. If I left a pair of Maui Jim's in my glove box, would they have been taken? Doubt it, but I am not giving anyone the chance to prove anyone right or wrong. I had 2 quarters and a nickel sitting in my arm rest. Those were there when I got my car back. Phew! I do not have any knicks in my windshield so I was not bothered by the people in the tiny booth looking for people who have windshield issues. Although, I did hear one of them curse loudly and I thought that was unprofessional. Glad my kids were not there. From the reviews I read, I was concerned with the "upsell" pressure. I felt none of that here. I purchased the cheapest wash, the guy asked if I wanted the one that cost a bit more, I said no and that was that. No "are you sure" or anything like that. From reading the reviews, I expected the guy to punch me in the face until I paid more. He didn't and I can firmly stay out of jail yet another day. And if he wasn't friendly, or if the windshield-timeshare-potty mouth salesperson came over, I would say no firmly with a scary mean look on my face and they would leave me alone. You should try it. A scary mean look. Scowl even. Firmly say, NO! If they keep bugging you, ask to see a manager or just leave. Luckily, I did not have to make the mean face. Anyways, I felt I should write because I almost did not go here because of all the bad reviews. And the truth is, this is just like all the other places. Although I wish you could actually see your car going through the wash. You can't. But I will be back. Maybe the $16 is the way to go.
