Out for a birthday with a party of 10. Kate was our server and was absolutely smashing! Everyone was extremely happy with their meals, and Kate came through in clutch with some on point fresh homemade apple sauce. Here is how it went down: Opa (my 90 year old fresh off the boat German grandmother) wanted some apple sauce to compliment her duck (which was cooked perfectly and was delightly delectable). She asked Kate if she had any apple sauce in the back, which she did not. I inquired if they had fresh apples in the back, and Kate said she believed that they did. I then jokingly replied that she had all she needed to make some apple sauce, all she needed was a little determination. We all had a good laugh and Kate opened the next bottle of wine (their selection is quite good) and left the table. We continued our meal when all of the sudden out of nowhere Kate appears with a small dish of fresh hand made applesauce that was on point (which means amazeballs). Needless to say the service was some of the best I have had in quite some time and the food was delicious. I would tell you that you need to get off your butt, out of those sweats, ditch the order the same chain store pizza idea and head to Silvercreek for dinner tonight. Real talk.
