| - Went to the "Wicked" show on 1/27/2016. I'm giving the two stars to the performance only. The show itself was amazing: great actors, good set, amazing theatrics. However; it was hard to enjoy anything in such an awful venue. My legs were so cramped the whole time that they fell asleep. I found this odd being only 5'3", as I have never been "too tall" for anything before.
Besides how uncomfortable I was during the show, there were many other negative aspects. There are too few toilets for the amount of ticket holders--only three per bathroom. This caused the lines to take about a half hour, just to use them before or during intermission. At intermission, the line was so long that the show started while people were still waiting. This caused people to interrupt the second half by coming in late. I missed about twenty minutes of the second half due to bathroom users.
Parking is a nightmare as well. You have to pay an extra $8 on top of the overly priced theater tickets, then get guided through a pot-hole filled parking lot by attendants who have no idea what they are doing. If you enjoy offroading, and don't mind running over someone, then you might be in luck. Otherwise, it is just a nightmare.
As amazing as the performance was, it was truely overshot by the terrible venue. Unless they take out half the seats to create more leg room, and add more bathrooms, I will not be going back. There is no way I'm spending this much money to sit in an auditorium of antsy people who are squirming because a) they can't stretch their legs, and b) they cant use the restroom.
High School auditorium are better.
