  • My hubby checked in on Tuesday because he arrived early for work. He literally falls into bed every night so he didn't noticed any of the issues that hit me as soon as I walked in. The kids and I arrived on Friday, and I cannot believe that this is a Hilton establishment. We have a room in the club tower, which is the older tower. The condition of the room is far below what we have experienced at last Hilton stay in VA. We got a double, and I found a stained on the pillow on the bed that hasn't been used, see picture attached. The bathtub is very gross with an embedded foot print of a previous guest that has permanently stained it, see photo. All in all the hotel went through some cosmetic upgrade, but if you look, you can see the wear and tear and the age of the hotel. If you are like my hubby and only come back to the room when you are dead tired then the Tropicana is fine, but if you are traveling with kids like I am, I do not recommend this. Today is Saturday and we are here until Tuesday. I will provide additional updates as I experience them. Stay tune.. * update 3:47pm Saturday... Look what my son found at the bottom of the pool. A tile fell off the wall ... See attached pic ***UPDATE: I found out that this is not a Hilton Establishment. Tropicana partners with Hilton for Hilton Reward Members. The Tropicana is locally owned and operated.***
