| - This was by far the best way to spend the afternoon in Las Vegas, even if you are a gambler. My wife and I opted for the three hour Red Rock Canyon tour and we were picked up in front of our resort right on time. After a short trip picking up the other members of our tour group, our guide took us on a scenic drive through the city as she drove us to where we were to meet with the actual tour vehicle, a pink jeep. Along the way up, our guide pointed out things most tourists to Vegas will never see or know. She even offered complimentary bottled water as we drove up. Once we got to Red Rock Canyon, we met with Chris (the one with the moustache, as he says), who was to be our jeep guide and driver. All tour members were offered a clean warm jacket and blanket to keep warm (this is an open air tour and it did get cold) and we proceeded onto the jeep. Once on board, Chris drove us to the Red Rock Canyon Visitors Center where we spent some time at a well built and configured BLM interpretive center. Soon thereafter, Chris drove us on the 13 mile scenic loop through the nature reserve, which included some off-road time to a scenic spot most tour groups, or other people for that matter, will never get to. Along the entire way, Chris provided info on everything from the botany to geology and the zoology of the area. We never felt rushed and Chris was always there to answer your questions or help you. Upon having finished the 13 mile scenic loop, Chris drove us to the transfer area where we were met by our bus back into Vegas. This was an outstanding tour and we can't wait to partake in the Company's other offerings.
