  • Don't bother calling the 24 hour advice nurse. I ended up hanging up the phone on one. I called asking about a referral and the nurse went ballistic on how my primary care physician had to be contacted about some changes. (The other doctors and the hospital are aware that I have a primary and who she is.) She started lecturing me about the medicine, which I am very familiar with. I am very happy with the medicine prescribed by the specialists and the hospital doctors. But this nurse misquoted me and refused to listen, she was very upset.
