  • Lady was super nice as she told me to spend my money at REI. I wanted to try on a pair of Altras and was told I wasn't allowed to without a $20.00 treadmill analysis. If you want a $20.00 analysis, this is your store. If you're an experienced runner who knows what they want, and would like to try on and buy a specific pair of shoes, you'll have to go elsewhere. I already knew I needed a low/0 drop, high cushioned, neutral road shoe. I was told I would get the shoe she decided on based on the treadmill results, not what I wanted. No treadmill, no trying on the shoes.
