| - Well, there's certainly two sides to Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden.
First off, the experience itself is very fun, and very cool. I didn't even know about this place until my girlfriend and I just happened to be walking through the Mirage and saw a poster for it. We figured we'd check out pricing and see what it was about, and decided it would be worth it to stop in.
Pretty cool area. The first part you come to is the dolphin tank, which is pretty good sized. There are a few dolphins swimming through, and you can sit and watch them from the top, or go below, where there are windows that allow you to look in and watch them swim- a perfect picture taking opportunity.
When you walk back, you get to a more jungle area, and there are lots of white tigers, a few lions, and a few other animals. The hit of this place, no doubt, is the White Tiger Cubs. A lady had them on display and was feeding them and playing with them and their toys, and they just melted everyone's heart. There was a huge crowd gathered to look at them, but everyone got more than enough time to sit, watch, and take pictures.
Definitely worth stopping in, ESPECIALLY if you have kids. Only downside is the price. For 15 bucks, it can be a bit pricey, but the cool thing is you can spend as much time as you want here. If you want to sit and watch the dolphins swim for 4 hours, you can do that. Take your time, enjoy, and you will get your money's worth. Funny thing- they offer a special deal, where you get tickets to three attractions for ONLY 55 bucks. Since the majority of all the attractions offered are only 15 bucks each, you'd end up spending more getting this so called "bargain".
Overall, I really enjoyed it. Don't think I'd go again unless I was with kids or with someone who'd never been and wanted to check it out, but it's definitely worth stopping in at least once. If you have kids, make this one of your destinations in Vegas.
