In the Summerlin neighborhood so decided to visit a place the kids have gone to. We were pleasantly surprised as to how big the place is. Bar area is large and there is also an outside area. We noticed that they have brunch specials on Saturday and Sunday. They also have for $15.00 with an entree you can get up to four refills of your drink, i think there were mimosas, bloody Mary's and two other choices. I'm sure this would, have been great if we didn't need to drive home. I settled for the crushed velvet and it is like a Moscow mule. I have to say it was tasty and the berries were big and juicy. Hubby had a blonde beer and was delighted that it was chilled nicely. This place has a lot of unique items on the menu so if you are looki g for traditional food, this is not a place for you to eat. We shared Chorizo Mac n cheese and I had the Shrimp grits, it looked a little intimidating but once I tasted it, it was
Amazing. Hubby ordered the CCB which was a chicken patty type burger with a fried egg in it. Not really his cup of tea, said it might have been better with a fried chicken breast. He said it was a little dry and chalky. Our waitress Amberlyn was a sweetheart, very attentive and came back to make sure things were right and if we needed anything. I would have liked to try the desserts they have but I was very full. I think this would be a good place to meet up with friend for drinks.
