  • I've been a loyal Discount Tire customer since I bought my first set of tires from them in Phoenix in 1980. This Scottsdale location has been my neighborhood D.T. for 14 years but I travel a lot by car and have stopped at D.T's in a bunch of other cities while on extended road trips. At every one I get excellent, friendly, professional service; often at no charge or only a minimal charge depending on the service I need. I stopped in this D.T. today due to a slow leak in one tire on my 2015 Lexus that still has the original tires. They removed a small screw I picked up somewhere, patched and rebalanced the tire, and put in a new valve stem. I was in and out in 25 minutes. And all of this at no charge. If I ever see Bruce Halle in a bar (which could happen since he lives nearby) I will for sure buy him a drink.
