  • Last night I heard that dreaded screeching sound when you apply your brakes, so I got up extra early this morning to find a shop that can service my brakes. Enter, Dave's Auto Repair. From the initial phone call to speaking with him at his shop, he was very friendly and accommodating. After inspecting my vehicle, it turns out I didn't need pads at all. In fact, they showed me my pads and they were almost new. The noise I heard was either debris or possibly even the pads themselves, since they are apparently made with more metal than older pads, which can cause a similar screeching sound. So I just saved a ton of money. Thank you so much Dave for your honesty and integrity. Considering I am not very mechanically inclined, a less honorable shop could have easily taken advantage of the situation. Moral of this mornings story, if you fellow Yelpers need an honest shop, with an active business owner who stands behind his service, I would highly recommend giving Dave's Auto Repair an opportunity to earn your business. He won't let you down. Happy Motoring!
