| - Bought the Living Social deal not knowing what to expect. They arrived an hour late, but worked hard (for the most part). I ordered pizza for them, but the break wasn't deducted from my time (though I ended up needing more time anyway). Eric was a beast. He must be part machine. The two youngest workers (20yrs) were very polite. Hearing "may I" and "thank you" from someone so young is rare these days. The fourth worker (30yrs) is the reason for the rating. Overheard him talking about getting drunk and high (what you do in your free time doesn't concern me), but was all around lazier than the rest of the crew. I went through the truck (which was a rented U-Haul) and found my portable DVD player (brand new, in box) wrapped up in a moving blanket. I'm not accusing anyone, because it could've been an honest mistake, but it appeared that someone was purposely hiding it. At this point, I wanted to personally search each worker, but obviously didn't. I let Eric know about the DVD player, and he said that he had a suspect and that he wouldn't be working for him anymore. I've worked off of tips for almost 20yrs, but ended up giving them less than I would have. It's sad that one person ruined it for the others, but without proof of who was too blame, everyone was punished.
Good thing I purchased the insurance. I've noticed several of my items chipped and/or broken. I'll update once I follow up with that.
