  • I ordered a cake from She Takes the Cake for my husband's 35th birthday. I verbally told the owner, Adrienne, the date I needed the cake and sent it to her in an email as well. When I emailed her the day before it was supposed to be delivered, she told me she thought it was for the following weekend. Then she said she might not be able to do it in time, and told me if she was able to do it, it would cost 50% more than she originally quoted me. And of course it was too late for me to order another cake with anyone else. In the end, I had no cake for my husband's birthday which was truly disappointing. This woman should not be running a business - she is irresponsible, dishonest and unprofessional. I would never give this place another chance. Stay far away.
