i ventured to this beautiful desert garden while visiting family in AZ. i had a few hours to kill before i had to be somewhere and decided to make the drive to visit the garden. it was easy to find and parking was plenty and free. the cost to get in was a bit steep ($24.95) but worth it especially if you appreciate nature and all it's beauty. as soon as i walked in i went to the restaurant to grab an iced cold beverage and the host suggested i have their watermelon green ice tea. it was a great choice, flavorful and refreshing. i began my walk thru the garden and enjoyed every turn and loop. i especially enjoyed the butterfly sanctuary they have. i didn't get to go thru the entire park since i was limited on time but would love to come back again to continue. right before i left i checked out their gift shop and bought a few items. i also went back to get more ice tea and the kind host refilled me with no charge. this garden is worth checking out.
